Job summary

Owen Health Care seeks a Mindfulness Coach to support Airmen at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, NJ. This nonclinical role focuses on attention, resilience, and performance readiness within an integrated human-performance team.

The successful candidate will hold an active NCC and a psychology/counseling degree, with at least two years of relevant experience and U.S. citizenship. Expect onsite work with some travel and strict adherence to government guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Psychology or Counseling as specified in the solicitation.
• Active NCC credential through NBCC, current and active.
• At least two years of relevant professional experience in counseling, mindfulness, resilience, or related areas.
• U.S. citizenship required.
• Able to meet background screening and installation-access requirements.
• Nonclinical mindfulness and performance-coaching scope demonstrated.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver mindfulness and mental-performance education for military missions.
• Teach techniques to improve attention, regulation, stress management and performance readiness.
• Coach Airmen on cognitive resilience and decision-making under stress.
• Lead workshops and individual coaching within nonclinical scope.
• Integrate mindfulness with physical training and other human-performance activities.
• Schedule sessions with squadron personnel and coordinate training.
• Develop portable exercises for deployment and field operations.
• Refer issues outside scope through government medical channels when needed.
• Participate in performance assessments and reporting.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries.
• Maintain credentials and complete ongoing education.
