Job summary

Owen Health Care seeks a Mindfulness Coach (Military Human Performance) to support Airmen at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, NJ. The role focuses on evidence-based mindfulness and mental-performance coaching within a nonclinical scope to strengthen focus, resilience, and stress management in demanding environments.

The position collaborates with an Athletic Trainer and Functional Strength Coach, requires NCC credential, 2+ years of experience, and U.S. citizenship for base access.

Qualifications

• NCC credential required and active.
• 2+ years of relevant experience in mindfulness or performance coaching.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain base access.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver mindfulness and mental-performance education for military missions.
• Teach techniques to improve attention, concentration, emotional regulation, and performance readiness.
• Coach Airmen on cognitive resilience and decision-making under stress.
• Lead group workshops and individual coaching within nonclinical scope.
• Integrate mindfulness with physical training and other performance activities.
• Coordinate with squadron staff to schedule training sessions.
• Create portable exercises for deployments and high-tempo missions.
• Refer concerns outside nonclinical scope to government medical channels.
• Participate in performance assessments and program planning.
• Document participation and outcomes for required reports.
