Job summary

Owen Health Care Inc. seeks a Mindfulness Coach to provide nonclinical mindfulness and mental-performance coaching for Airmen, strengthening focus, resilience and cognitive readiness in high-tempo environments.

Role involves integrated work with an Athletic Trainer and a Functional Strength Coach, and requires an active NCC credential, a relevant degree, and at least two years of related experience. Onsite at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, NJ with 40-hour weeks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Psychology or Counseling as specified in the solicitation.
• Active NCC credential through NBCC; must be active/current; mindfulness certificates do not satisfy requirement.
• At least two years of relevant professional experience in counseling, mindfulness, mental performance, resilience, stress management, or related area.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver evidence-based mindfulness and mental-performance education for military mission requirements.
• Teach techniques that improve attention, concentration, emotional regulation, stress management, and performance readiness.
• Coach Airmen on cognitive resilience, decision-making under stress, fatigue management, and sustaining performance.
• Lead group workshops and individual coaching within the nonclinical scope.
• Integrate mindfulness with physical training and other human-performance activities.
