Job summary

General Mills Milwaukee is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead the shift, ensuring safety, quality and performance outcomes. You will build strong relationships, coach the team, and drive platform improvements, changeovers, and daily direction setting to meet production goals.

As the on-site leader, you will develop the team, analyze manufacturing data, and ensure the production system operates efficiently while maintaining safety, quality, and cost objectives.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma with leadership experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Preferred associate degree and demonstrated ability to drive results through process and teamwork.
• Knowledge of data analysis systems and decision making for results.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety and human safety initiatives on the shift using Safety 2.0 principles.
• Role model Engaging Leader behaviors and develop strategies to maximize shift effectiveness.
• Drive platform improvements and ensure execution of the daily direction setting.
• Develop understanding of production data and inventory/control processes.
• Provide backup coverage to maintain business continuity.
