Job summary

The Area Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operational management of assigned accounts in the Milwaukee, Wisconsin market. CleanPower – a subsidiary of Marsden Services – is seeking an Area Manager to supervise and coordinate activities of associates including cleaning, safety and maintaining the contracted scope of work.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of management experience across multiple sites.
• Experience reading safety rules and operating/instruction manuals.
• Pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check required.
• HSD or GED required; further education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee general cleanliness and cleaning team across assigned locations.
• Primary client contact for assigned account with proactive issue resolution.
• Investigate customer complaints and communicate action plans to Senior Operations Manager.
• Complete safety audits and conduct safety training.
• Assign tasks to associates and inspect completed work for standards conformance.
• Coach and develop staff; identify and mentor future leaders.
• Manage timekeeping and payroll duties; verify on-site presence.
• Participate in regional and corporate management meetings.
• Suggest efficiency improvements and growth ideas for the account.
