Job summary

JENNMAR Services is seeking experienced Millwrights, Welders and Fabricators to work on site with weekly travel to various locations. The company offers per diem where applicable, health/dental/vision coverage, PTO, life insurance and a 401(k) plan.

Applicants must be 18+, have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license, and be able to pass background and drug testing. OSHA SAFET/LANDPEC training is a plus and training may be provided.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to climb stairs, ladders, and platforms; bend and squat.
• Ability to walk/stand/sit for long periods.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
• Shift flexibility including overtime, weekends, holidays.

Responsibilities

• Follow supervisor/foreman instructions while maintaining safety standards.
• Move, secure, install, build, load, and unload materials, tools, and equipment.
• Welding and fabrication for repairs and various projects.
• Repair and install mechanical parts for equipment.
• Read schematics and manuals for equipment repairs.
• Use sticks welding and oxy/acetylene torches safely and efficiently.
• Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Prepare job site and assist skilled tradespeople.

• THESE POSITIONS ARE FULL TIME POSITIONS WITH COMPETITIVE PAY, BENEFITS AND LOCAL POSITIONS WITH TRAVEL (PER DIEM GIVEN FOR TRAVEL)

Job Responsibilities for Experienced Millwrights, Welders, Fabricators:

• Follow instructions from supervisors and/or crew foremen while maintaining all safety standards
• Perform various physical duties assigned
• Move, secure, install, build, load and/or unload materials, tools and equipment
• Welding and fabrication for repairs and various projects
• Properly repair and install mechanical parts for equipment
• Read schematics and instruction manuals to make equipment repairs if needed
• Stick Weld and use Oxy/Act torches safely and efficiently
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently
• Clean/prepare job site
• Assist skilled tradespeople in their duties

Job Requirements Experienced Millwrights, Welders, Fabricators:

• Must be 18 or older
• Must have reliable transportation and a valid drivers license
• Ability to routinely climb stairs, ladders and/or platforms, bend and squat
• Ability to walk, stand or sit for prolonged periods of time
• Ability to consistently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds throughout the shift
• Able to work any shifts, including overtime, weekends and holidays required.
• Ability to pass background and drug & alcohol testing required.
• MSHA Surface, SAFELAND PEC, and OSHA certifications a plus (training will be provided to qualified candidates who are selected for the role)
