Job summary

JENNMAR Services is seeking Millwrights, Welders, and Fabricators for full-time, local positions with weekly travel. Per diem provided where applicable, plus health, dental, vision, PTO, life insurance and 401(k). Must be able to travel weekly to various locations and pass background/drug testing.

Responsibilities include following supervisor directions, reading schematics, welding/fabrication, installing and repairing mechanical parts, and maintaining safety standards on-site.

Qualifications

• Welding and fabrication experience for repairs and projects.
• Ability to read schematics and manuals to perform repairs.
• Commitment to maintaining safety standards on-site.

Responsibilities

• Follow instructions from supervisors while maintaining all safety standards.
• Move, secure, install, build, load and unload materials, tools and equipment.
• Welding and fabrication for repairs and various projects.
• Repair and install mechanical parts for equipment.
• Read schematics and instruction manuals to make equipment repairs if needed.
• Stick Weld and use Oxy/Acetylene torches safely and efficiently.
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Clean/prepare job site.
• Assist skilled tradespeople in their duties.

Job Responsibilities for Experienced Millwrights, Welders, Fabricators:

• Follow instructions from supervisors and/or crew foremen while maintaining all safety standards
• Perform various physical duties assigned
• Move, secure, install, build, load and/or unload materials, tools and equipment
• Welding and fabrication for repairs and various projects
• Properly repair and install mechanical parts for equipment
• Read schematics and instruction manuals to make equipment repairs if needed
• Stick Weld and use Oxy/Act torches safely and efficiently
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently
• Clean/prepare job site
• Assist skilled tradespeople in their duties

Job Requirements Experienced Millwrights, Welders, Fabricators:

• Must be 18 or older
• Must have reliable transportation and a valid drivers license
• Ability to routinely climb stairs, ladders and/or platforms, bend and squat
• Ability to walk, stand or sit for prolonged periods of time
• Ability to consistently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds throughout the shift
• Able to work any shifts, including overtime, weekends and holidays required.
• Ability to pass background and drug & alcohol testing required.
• MSHA Surface, SAFELAND PEC, and OSHA certifications a plus (training will be provided to qualified candidates who are selected for the role)
