Job summary

JENNMAR Services is seeking experienced Millwrights, Welders, and Fabricators to join our field teams. These local, full-time positions require weekly travel to various locations, with per diem provided where applicable, and a competitive benefits package.

Candidates should be able to read schematics, install and repair mechanical components, perform welding and fabrication, and comply with safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 or older.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
• Ability to climb stairs, ladders and platforms; bend and squat.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Overtime, weekends and holidays may be required.
• Background and drug & alcohol testing required.
• Certifications such as MSHA, SAFELAND PEC, OSHA are a plus (training provided).

Responsibilities

• Follow supervisor/foreman instructions while maintaining safety standards.
• Perform various physical duties and move/install materials, tools and equipment.
• Weld and fabricate for repairs and projects.
• Repair and install mechanical parts for equipment.
• Read schematics and manuals to repair equipment.
• Operate hand and power tools safely.
• Prepare and clean job sites.
• Assist skilled tradespeople as needed.

• THESE POSITIONS ARE FULL TIME POSITIONS WITH COMPETITIVE PAY, BENEFITS AND LOCAL POSITIONS WITH TRAVEL (PER DIEM GIVEN FOR TRAVEL)

Job Responsibilities for Experienced Millwrights, Welders, Fabricators:

• Follow instructions from supervisors and/or crew foremen while maintaining all safety standards
• Perform various physical duties assigned
• Move, secure, install, build, load and/or unload materials, tools and equipment
• Welding and fabrication for repairs and various projects
• Properly repair and install mechanical parts for equipment
• Read schematics and instruction manuals to make equipment repairs if needed
• Stick Weld and use Oxy/Act torches safely and efficiently
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently
• Clean/prepare job site
• Assist skilled tradespeople in their duties

Job Requirements Experienced Millwrights, Welders, Fabricators:

• Must be 18 or older
• Must have reliable transportation and a valid drivers license
• Ability to routinely climb stairs, ladders and/or platforms, bend and squat
• Ability to walk, stand or sit for prolonged periods of time
• Ability to consistently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds throughout the shift
• Able to work any shifts, including overtime, weekends and holidays required.
• Ability to pass background and drug & alcohol testing required.
• MSHA Surface, SAFELAND PEC, and OSHA certifications a plus (training will be provided to qualified candidates who are selected for the role)
