Job summary

JENNMAR Services is seeking experienced Millwrights, Welders, and Fabricators for full-time roles with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits. Positions involve local work with some weekly travel and per diem where applicable.

Candidates must be able to travel weekly to various locations, pass background checks and drug and alcohol testing. Certifications (MSHA, SAFELAND, OSHA) are a plus and training will be provided for selected candidates.

• Ability to pass background and drug & alcohol testing.
• MSHA Surface, SAFELAND PEC, and OSHA certifications a plus.

Responsibilities

• Follow instructions from supervisors/crew foremen maintaining safety standards.
• Move, secure, install, build, load/unload materials, tools and equipment.
• Welding and fabrication for repairs and various projects.
• Repair and install mechanical parts for equipment.
• Read schematics/instruction manuals to make repairs.

These positions are full time positions with competitive pay, benefits and local positions with travel (per diem given for travel). Must be able to travel each week to various locations.

Job Responsibilities for Experienced Millwrights, Welders, Fabricators:

• Follow instructions from supervisors and/or crew foremen while maintaining all safety standards
• Perform various physical duties assigned
• Move, secure, install, build, load and/or unload materials, tools and equipment
• Welding and fabrication for repairs and various projects
• Properly repair and install mechanical parts for equipment
• Read schematics and instruction manuals to make equipment repairs if needed
• Stick Weld and use Oxy/Act torches safely and efficiently
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently
• Clean/prepare job site
• Assist skilled tradespeople in their duties

Job Requirements Experienced Millwrights, Welders, Fabricators:

• Must be 18 or older
• Must have reliable transportation and a valid drivers license
• Ability to routinely climb stairs, ladders and/or platforms, bend and squat
• Ability to walk, stand or sit for prolonged periods of time
• Ability to consistently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds throughout the shift
• Able to work any shifts, including overtime, weekends and holidays required.
• Ability to pass background and drug & alcohol testing required.
• MSHA Surface, SAFELAND PEC, and OSHA certifications a plus (training will be provided to qualified candidates who are selected for the role)
