Sierra Pacific Industries in Sonora, CA is seeking a Millwright - Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair mechanical systems in a manufacturing setting. The role requires welding, cutting, and hands-on tooling skills to troubleshoot and repair hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.

You will dismantle and fabricate parts, perform diagnostic tests, and operate welding tools, forklifts, and related equipment. Overtime and weekends may be required during busy production periods.

Qualifications

• 2 years recent verifiable related work history or equivalent education.
• Proficient in welding, cutting, and using hand tools for repairs.
• Working knowledge of hydraulics, pumps, motors, gearboxes, conveyors, and bearings.
• Ability to recognize, report, and repair mechanical defects.
• Industrial mill maintenance experience is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Maintain and repair all mechanical parts and machinery in a manufacturing facility.
• Troubleshoot, install, replace, and repair machines and equipment including hydraulic systems.
• Dismantle machinery, locate causes, and replace parts as needed.
• Fabricate machine components for repairs and improvements.
• Conduct diagnostic tests to ensure optimum system functionality.
• Assemble, install, and maintain mechanical systems for efficient operation.
• Operate arc welder, cutting torch, forklift, and welding truck.
• Fabricate, weld, mill, and lathe as needed.
• Perform general maintenance safely and keep a clean work area.
• Work may include weekends/holidays during busy production times.
