Job summary

Sierra Pacific Industries is seeking a qualified Millwright/Maintenance Technician for our sawmill in Sonora, California. In this role, you will maintain and repair mechanical systems and machinery, ensuring efficient operation.

Qualifications

• Proficient in welding, cutting, and using hand tools for repairs.
• Working knowledge of hydraulics, pumps, motors, gearboxes, conveyors, and bearings.
• Ability to recognize, report, and repair mechanical defects.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair all mechanical parts and machinery in a manufacturing facility.
• Troubleshoot, install, replace, and repair machines and equipment.
• Effectively conduct and assess diagnostic tests for optimum system functionality.
