Job summary

Black & Veatch is seeking a Millwright Superintendent for conventional generation projects. This field role requires interfacing with supervision, craft employees, and subcontractors, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence.

Travel is required across sites, with a strong emphasis on providing technical direction and productivity oversight. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in construction leadership, a construction management or engineering degree, OSHA 10, and proven ability to manage

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience of construction field leadership on equivalent projects.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Completion of cost control, back charges, and schedule training.
• Construction management and contract administration training.
• OSHA 10 certification.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, verify and report construction activities for CPM schedule compliance.
• Assist craft/subcontractors in resolving issues related to drawings, schedule, quality and safety.
• Monitor productivity, progress, and cost; report to Construction Manager and Field Project Controls Manager.
• Develop and maintain 3 Week Look Ahead Schedule for assigned scope.
• Coordinate with discipline Superintendents and Construction Manager on daily/weekly plans.
• Review timesheets, quantity reports, and progress payments; ensure on-site resources.
• Develop corrective plans to ensure progress and productivity targets are met.
