Job summary

Georgia-Pacific's Diboll Lumber mill in Texas is seeking a dedicated Millwright to troubleshoot and repair mechanical failures, perform preventive maintenance, and uphold a clean, safe work environment. This role supports production goals while prioritizing safety and reliability.

You will install, maintain, and repair mechanical systems, work rotating day/night shifts, and utilize CMMS for maintenance records.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Five years welding experience including fabrication and structural.
• Ability to use a computerized maintenance system (CMMS) effectively.
• Troubleshooting skills including hydraulics, structural, pneumatic, mechanical and basic electrical.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, replacements, and repairs of mechanical systems within a manufacturing operation.
• Maintain a high regard for safety and comply with plant safety/environmental guidelines.
• Meet and exceed production waste and quality goals through a quality maintenance program.
• Work rotating shifts, holidays, weekends and overtime as needed.
