Job summary

Rogers Group, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician / Millwright for our quarries in Cowan, Shelbyville, and Fayetteville, TN. The role focuses on repairing and maintaining plant operations, with welding and fabrication as key tasks.

Flexibility for various shifts and locations is required. Qualified candidates will have experience in fixed plant maintenance, welding (Stick/Mig), and the ability to lead maintenance projects while prioritizing safety.

Qualifications

• Previous fixed plant maintenance or related industry experience is required.
• Experience working with crushers, conveyors and screens is preferred but not required.
• Experience in fabricating, cutting, and stick and mig welding is required.
• Demonstrated ability to provide leadership, direction, and work planning for plant maintenance, fabrication, and heavy repair projects.
• Mechanical aptitude/ability to diagnose and perform plant repairs as needed.
• Self-motivated individual - must be able to perform required duties independently, without constant supervision.
• Must be flexible on working hours and locations with the ability to adapt to different work environments.
• Uncompromising focus on safety excellence.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair plant operations including crushers, conveyors and screens.
• Provide leadership and direction for maintenance projects and heavy repairs.
• Diagnose mechanical issues and perform fabrications, welding, and installations as needed.
• Adapt to different work environments and schedules, including night/weekend shifts.
