Job summary

Tokai Carbon CB Ltd. seeks a Maintenance B to join the Maintenance Department. Under supervision, you will help ensure plant equipment runs smoothly and assist in resolving issues promptly.

You will perform preventative maintenance, repair production machines, and support safety, quality, and ISO procedures. Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to read safety manuals are essential. 0–3 years in manufacturing preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to read, interpret and understand safety manuals, policies and procedures.
• 0-3 years experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical and operational aptitude in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair production or processing machines and equipment rapidly to reduce production lag
• Assist with the planning and execution of all department assigned tasks and work orders
• Monitor and maintain various plant equipment to support optimal occupational health and safety, quality assurance and equipment efficiency
• Proactively respond to issues and deficiencies with recommended solutions and clearly communicate resolution process to supervisor and other levels of management
• Regular attendance is required
• Regularly review, support and execute ISO responsibilities defined by the department
• Comprehend and respond accordingly to environmental safety procedures and mandates
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor
