Job summary

Tube Forgings Of America, Inc. in Portland, OR, is seeking a skilled millwright to support our maintenance team. You will troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair complex machinery and perform preventive maintenance to maximize uptime.

Responsibilities include installing capital improvements, welding and fabricating equipment, and operating shop machinery to produce and repair components. A strong safety mindset and ability to work both independently and in a team are essential.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent required.
• 5–7 years of millwright experience with maintenance background.
• Must be multi-task oriented and able to work independently or in a team.
• Strong knowledge of preventive/predictive maintenance tools.
• Able to read and follow work instructions and safety policies.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs and operate in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist maintenance team in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing machinery.
• Use preventive/predictive maintenance measures to reduce downtime.
• Install, set up, and start up capital improvements.
• Fabricate and weld new equipment, piping, catwalks, stairs, and ladders.
• Operate lathes, mills, and drill presses to machine parts as needed.
• Perform inspections and document findings on PM forms.
