Job summary

Sundt Inc. is seeking a skilled labor teammate to assist Millwrights with planning, layout, installation, alignment, and maintenance of mechanical equipment in accordance with plans, specs, and codes.

You will work across crafts as needed and must take direction from a higher skilled worker or foreman. Key responsibilities include maintaining crew relationships, delivering high quality work safely, and proactively addressing material and equipment needs.

Qualifications

• Must have 1–2 years of experience in industrial/construction environment.
• NCCER Core Curriculum and/or a High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Possess effective verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain positive working relationships with all crew members.
• Produce high quality work safely and productively.
• Provide feedback to ensure materials, tools, equipment and information are available for the work.
• Identify opportunities for improvement and be willing to learn from others.
• Learn and understand safety hazards related to the work.
• Perform basic math: add, subtract, multiply and divide.
• Safely and effectively use or operate related tools and equipment.
• Eliminate waste such as waiting, rework, transporting, material storage and time.
• If unsure about any aspect, ask a supervisor before continuing.
