Summary: Assists Journeyman Millwrights with installation, repair, replacement, and dismantling of machinery and heavy equipment in industrial settings. Performs duties including:

• Replacing defective parts and adjusting machine components.
• Aligning machines using hoists, jacks, and measuring tools.
• Connecting power and testing machinery.
• Repairing and lubricating equipment.
• Positioning steel beams and supporting structures based on blueprints.
• Adjusting parts using hand tools and measuring instruments.
• Moving machinery with hoists and dollies.
• Assembling and fastening machine parts.
• Drilling and bolting components.
• Leveling and aligning equipment.
• Dismantling machines as needed.
• Using gas heating equipment for shrink-fitting components.
