Georgia-Pacific is hiring an experienced Millwright for our Lumber facility in Warrenton, GA. You will work on high-speed production equipment, perform preventive and corrective maintenance, and help drive reliability across the mill.

We offer strong pay and long-term stability in a large-scale manufacturing environment, with opportunities for skill development and internal growth. A $2,500 sign-on bonus is available, with relocation benefits and overtime as needed.

Competenze

• 3 years of wood products or industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing/military environment.
• Experience reading blueprints and performing precision measurements.
• Troubleshooting rotating equipment: bearings, chains, sprockets, gearboxes, conveyors.
• Troubleshooting and repairing hydraulic and pneumatic systems; reading hydraulic schematics.

Mansioni

• Support high-speed manufacturing equipment including conveyors, motors, hydraulics, pneumatic systems, and automated production lines.
• Perform reliability and maintenance work on heavy industrial machinery in a manufacturing environment.
• Execute preventive and corrective maintenance aligned with the facility’s maintenance strategy.
• Troubleshoot mechanical failures, identify root causes, and implement effective repairs.
• Partner with operations to prioritize maintenance needs and improve equipment performance.
• Follow all plant safety guidelines, policies, and procedures.
• Work in hot, humid, cold, and noisy industrial environments.
• Perform physical tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing, and pulling for up to twelve (12) hours per shift.
• Communicate effectively with crane operators using standard hand signals.
• Work nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as required by the operation.
