Job summary

Yates Construction in Mississippi is seeking experienced Millwright Foremen to oversee crews on statewide projects. This supervisory role involves planning, safety monitoring, and ensuring quality workmanship.

Ideal candidates will have extensive hands-on millwright experience, a track record in crew leadership, and the ability to read blueprints, ISOs, and P&IDs, with strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum eight years of construction experience.
• Minimum six years of craft-classified experience.
• At least two years of supervisory experience (for external candidates).
• Formal education/certification in construction, technical, or trade school such as NCCER Certification Plus.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, ISO’s, and P&IDs.
• Successful completion of required safety training (Confined Space, LOTO, Working at Heights).
• Ability to work in all weather conditions and at varying elevations.
• Physical ability to lift up to 25 lbs and perform standing, walking, bending, squatting, climbing, and lifting.
• Strong communication skills in English.
