Job summary

Matrix Service Company in Clarksville, AR is seeking a Foreman to lead a crew of millwrights in installation, maintenance, repair, and dismantling of industrial machinery. You will serve as the primary link between project management and field workers, ensuring safety, efficiency, and high-precision work.

The role requires guiding interventions, coordinating with maintenance teams, and ensuring minimal downtime while meeting project schedules.

Qualifications

• Must have refinery maintenance/turnaround/construction experience.
• General knowledge of basic hand and power tools.
• Able to assemble, install and test machines and equipment.
• Able to use equipment such as forklifts to move parts.
• Experience overseeing preventive maintenance and lubricating parts.
• Manage layout and placement of equipment to minimize downtime.
• Millwright Skills Test pass at 70% or NCCER certification.
• Matrix Safety training and site-specific training.
• Active status in DISA drug testing program.

Responsibilities

• Receives instructions covering scheduled and emergency repairs, installation, and inspection work.
• Inspects equipment for defects and determines best repair approach to minimize downtime.
• Advises when immediate shutdown is necessary to minimize damage.
• Dismantles, repairs, installs, maintains, and lubricates mechanical equipment.
• Assembles and aligns gears, bearings, and shafts.
• Operates simple machine tools (drill press, pipe-threading, power saw).
• Changes, sets up and adjusts equipment as required by conditions.
• Works with repair crews on emergency breakdowns.
