Job summary

Yates Construction in Mississippi seeks a skilled construction supervisor to lead the foreman and crews on site. You will monitor quality and safety, provide planning and direction for daily activities, and ensure work aligns with project plans and standards.

You will enforce safety procedures, coordinate with the superintendent, review progress, and help prepare look-ahead schedules. Strong communication and leadership are essential for on-site success.

Qualifications

• Minimum of ten (10) years of construction experience.
• Minimum of six (6) years of craft-classified experience.
• Minimum of two (2) years of supervision experience.
• Experience managing five to fifteen (5 to 15) team members.
• Formal education/degree/certificate in construction, technical, or trade school such as NCCER Certification Plus.
• Must be able to speak, read, and write in the English language.

Responsibilities

• Supervise installation per work packs and report quantities.
• Complete time sheets for their direct reports to track progress and verify time.
• Responsible for the quality of the finished product, completing quality documentation including check sheets and final documentation.
• Read ISO's, Blueprints, P&IDs.
• Successful completion of required Safety training to include, but not limited to, Confined Space, LOTO, and Working at Heights.
