Job Title: Millwright Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Millwright to maintain and repair industrial manufacturing equipment at a shingle mill. This role involves troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, following preventative maintenance routines, as well as welding and fabricating.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repair on industrial manufacturing equipment.


• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.


• Follow and execute preventative maintenance routines.


• Weld and fabricate as necessary to maintain equipment functionality.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.


• Ability to weld effectively.


• Experience in preventative maintenance and repair.


• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in industrial maintenance.


• Knowledge of PLC troubleshooting.


• Experience in electrical maintenance.

Work Environment

The position operates on the 3rd shift from 6pm to 6am, with a rotating schedule of 3 days on, 4 days off, followed by 4 days on, 3 days off. The work environment is industrial manufacturing, which can be somewhat dirty and dusty due to the nature of the product. Heavy machinery is used, and certain areas can be loud. Safety equipment such as steel-toed boots, hard hats, safety glasses, and earplugs are required.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $78769.60 - $78769.60/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
