Job summary

Branscome is seeking a Millwright - Manufacturing for our Asphalt Plants in Virginia. You will install and maintain equipment used in asphalt production and will dismantle, repair and re-assemble heavy industrial machinery to keep operations running smoothly.

Required are a High School Diploma and at least 3 years of millwright or similar experience, plus knowledge of hydraulics, belt systems, motors and reading blueprints.

• High School Diploma.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain equipment used in the manufacturing of Asphalt.
• Dismantle, repair and re-assemble heavy industrial machinery.
• Install equipment such as shafting and conveyors.
• Work with a variety of hand tools including measuring tools, welding and brazing equipment.
• Determine which machines, techniques, and tools to use when moving equipment and completing jobs.
• Perform all other duties deemed necessary or assigned.
