Job summary

TriSearch is seeking a skilled Maintenance millwright to sustain and repair process equipment, aiming to reduce downtime by performing predictive and preventative upkeep and optimizing equipment performance across the plant.

The role includes mechanical repairs on pumps and compressors, welding, fabrication, and thorough documentation of activities in a demanding industrial setting. An opportunity to work in shifts may be involved and safety is a priority.

Qualifications

• Welding experience including stick and wire feed.
• Ability to rebuild pumps, alignments, and seals.
• Operate light equipment, man-lifts, forklifts.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Mechanical repair and installation of process equipment and pumps.
• Perform predictive and preventative maintenance; greasing, oiling, filter changes, inspections.
• Welding, cutting, grinding, and fabrication as needed.
• Complete work orders and maintain maintenance documentation.
• Maintain housekeeping and conduct area checks.
• Troubleshoot equipment and identify root causes.

Job description

Basic Function: The Maintenance millwright will be responsible for maintaining and repairing all process

equipment and machinery while optimizing processing and reducing equipment downtime by performing

predictive and preventative maintenance on all equipment and machinery.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Mechanical repair and installation of process equipment Durco, Goulds, Pioneer, Sulair, and Atlas Copco pumps and compressors.
• Perform predictive and preventative maintenance procedures; greasing, oiling, changing filters, equipment inspections, etc.
• Capable of welding, cutting, grinding, and fabrication.
• Complete work orders and other maintenance documentation.
• Perform housekeeping duties and work area checks.
• Trouble shoot equipment and determine root cause analysis.
• Attendance is deemed an essential job function.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of welding; stick and wire feed, vertical, horizontal, overhead; and fabricating experience.
• Ability to rebuild pumps, perform dial and/or laser alignment, install mechanical seals and couplers.
• Ability to operate a variety of light equipment, man-lifts, forklift, and vehicles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid DL is required

Physical Demands:

• Personal protective equipment is required when performing work in a mine, outdoor, manufacturing or plant environment, including hard hat, hearing protection, safety glasses, safety footwear, and as needed; respirator, rubber steel-toe boots, protective clothing, gloves and any other protective equipment as required.
• Employee is occasionally required to crawl, kneel, bend, and reach with hands and arms above their shoulders.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 30-50lbs
• Ability to work in extreme weather conditions; exposure to wet and/or humid outside weather conditions; and extreme cold and/or heat.
• Ability to maintain awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions. Skilled in following safety practices and recognizing hazards.
• Physically capable of sitting or standing, shovelling and performing other types of physical work for long periods of time.
• Must be willing to work shift work or otherwise assigned.
• Must be a self-starter.
