Job summary

Sipcam Agro Solutions LLC is seeking a skilled Millwright/Industrial Maintenance Tech to perform preventative maintenance and mechanical repairs on manufacturing equipment. You will read blueprints and schematics, troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and operate forklifts and lifts while adhering to safety protocols.

Ideal candidates will have a High School diploma, 3+ years in industrial settings, and experience with CMMS, welding, PLCs, and rigging.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
• Two+ years college or vocational training in Industrial Maintenance Technology, Machining Technology, or Welding (associate’s degree preferred), plus 3 years’ experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or military environment.
• PLC knowledge preferred.
• Proficient in English with reading, writing, and speaking.
• Welding using TIG, MIG, and STICK preferred.
• CMMS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and mechanical repairs on manufacturing and utility equipment.
• Analyze, install, troubleshoot, diagnose and repair equipment and components.
• Use welding equipment, hand tools, power saws, drill press, rigging, calipers and micrometers.
• Perform rigging, grinding, welding and fabrication of equipment.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Read blueprints, P&ID diagrams and schematics.
• Plan machining work using orders, drawings and measurements.
• Operate forklifts and aerial lifts.
• Utilize CMMS to communicate work performed and equipment condition.

Job description

Essential Functions:

• Perform preventative maintenance and mechanical repairs on manufacturing and utility equipment, including but not limited to motors, pumps, drive chains, belt drives, mechanical seals, gearboxes, clutches, valves, air compressors, and fans.
• Analyze, install, troubleshoot, diagnose and repair all equipment to includebushings, sprockets, bearings, adjustable belts, seals, gaskets, or other equipment as needed
• Usewelding equipment, hand tools, power metal saws, drill press, rigging equipment, squares, dial indicators, laser alignment equipment, calipers, micrometers, and other gauges required in millwright work.
• Perform rigging, grinding, welding, and fabrication of equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of equipment and machinery.
• Plan machining work using work orders, drawings, and direct measurements
• Operate mobile equipment including forklifts and aerial lifts
• Reading blueprints, technical and mechanical drawings, Process & Instrument Diagrams (P&ID’s) and schematics
• Utilize the computerized maintenance software to communicate daily work performed and equipment condition
• Align and calibrate machine parts

Position Requirements** : **

• Ability to perform mathematical calculations with accuracy
• Ability to operate mechanical and diaphragm pumps
• Perform repetitive and physically demanding tasks for extended periods of time, lifting, walking, climbing, twisting, stooping.
• Ability to read and interpret instructions on various operating procedures
• Industrial truck (forklift) or equivalent manual material handling equipment experience
• Ability and willingness to work overtime, including weekend hours, and rotating shifts
• Proficient in English language with reading, writing, and speaking
• Ability to work in confined spaces and heights
• Ability to lift 50lbs
• Ability to use standard safety equipment and wear all required personal protective equipment (in extremely hot/cold environments)
• Ability to work in various weather conditions as required
• Ability to reduce time by trouble shooting and fixing mechanical issue
• Ability to use a computer
