Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Utilize manufacturer prints, disassembly/assembly manuals for equipment inspections and repairs.
• Reassemble rotating equipment per factory standards and clearances.
• Use micrometers, dial indicators, and feeler gauges for precise rebuilds.
• Document job workflow and results.
• Perform light machine work as required.
• Wire feed welding (preferred).
• Use basic hand tools and rigging equipment.
• Operate forklift and maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Be willing to perform other duties as assigned.

Description:

Seeking a Shop Millwright / Maintenance Technician. Prefer candidate with rotary vane compressors, blowers and other rotating equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize manufacturer prints, disassembly/assembly manuals for equipment inspections and repairs.
• Reassemble rotating equipment per factory standards and clearances.
• Using precise measuring tools for equipment rebuilds, such as micrometer, dial indicators, feeler-gauges, etc. (clearances down to 0.0001")
• Documentation of job workflow
• Light machine work
• Wire feed welding (preferred)
• Basic hand tools
• Rigging
• Forklift operation
• Keeping a safe, clean, and organized work area
• Must be willing to perform other duties as assigned

Requirements and Qualifications

• Five or more years-experience with rotating equipment rebuilds is preferred
• Trade school training preferred
• Track record of hands-on work experience industrial based businesses
• Candidate must be able to read blueprints, schematic drawings, and engineering specifications.
• Candidate must be able to interpret technical manuals to determine work procedures.
• Candidate must provide their own basic hand tools and measuring tools.
• Candidate must have strong initiative (self-starter), independent worker
• Candidate must have a strong attention to detail throughout job completion

Additional information:

• Schedule is a 9/80 (Monday - Thursday: 6:30 AM - 4:00 PM, Friday: 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM with every other Friday off)
• Full time: 40 hours/week
