Job summary

EnviroVantage, Inc. is seeking an on-site construction support role to assist demolition and environmental remediation projects nationwide and in the Caribbean.

You will work on varying tasks at job sites, operate torch cutting equipment, and support rigging while complying with OSHA, EPA, and safety policies. Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of construction experience, OSHA 10 and HAZWOPER 40, and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years construction experience required.
  • OSHA 10 and HAZWOPER 40 required; willing to obtain within 30 days of hire.
  • Experience with construction hand tools required.
  • Torch cutting and rigging experience preferred, but not required.
  • High School Diploma, GED, or vocational schooling preferred.

EnviroVantage, Inc., an industry‑leading Environmental Remediation & Demolition Contractor established in 1985, serves projects nationwide and across the Caribbean. We are looking to add to our incredible team.

Essential Functions
  • Work on site supporting different tasks for demolition and construction projects.
  • Torch cutting different types of material.
  • Rigging experience helpful.
  • Ability to adhere to all OSHA, EPA, federal, state, and company hazardous materials laws and policies.
  • Be a strong team leader/player with a positive attitude who is hard‑working and motivated every day.
Experience / Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years construction experience required.
  • OSHA 10 and HAZWOPER 40 required. If not current, willingness to obtain the certificate within 30 days of hire.
  • Experience with construction hand tools required.
  • Operate and maintain heavy equipment preferred, but not required.
  • Torch cutting and rigging experience preferred, but not required.
  • High School Diploma, GED, or vocational schooling preferred, but not indispensable.
Working Environment / Physical Demands
  • Coordination: Ability to coordinate actions with other workers on busy construction sites.
  • Attendance: Ability to complete work projects on time and in an effective manner; regular and prompt attendance is essential.
  • Working Conditions: Ability to work outdoors in heat, cold, dust, rain, pollution, and toxic atmospheres.
  • PPE: Ability to wear required PPE, including respirator, and participate in OSHA-required medical surveillance programs as necessary.
  • Lifting: Ability to lift construction debris and pick up to 50 lbs. regularly.
  • Climbing: Ability to climb temporary or permanent stairs and ladders; regularly required to sit, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
Total Rewards
Compensation
  • Compensation Range: $32.00 - $35.00/hour.
  • Actual compensation is based on experience, qualifications, and location.
Benefits
  • Health Insurance: Medical, dental, and vision coverage starting on the first day of the month following the date of hire.

Paid Time Off & Holidays
  • Paid Time Off (PTO): 80 hours per year.
  • Sick Time: 56 hours per year.
  • Paid Holidays: 8 company‑paid holidays per year.
