Job summary

Architectural Components Group, Inc. (ACGI), a subsidiary of Armstrong World Industries, seeks a Production Supervisor to manage manufacturing operations in Marshfield, MO.

You will mentor staff, ensure safety and quality, manage schedules, and coordinate with Engineering, Quality, and HR to drive continuous improvement on the production floor. This is an hourly, non-exempt role on 1st shift (5am–3:30pm) with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Requires ability to think critically about production methods.
• Must be able to read Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
• Demonstrates strategic thinking and problem-solving in manufacturing settings.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Experience with NC equipment and related machinery is a plus.
• Dependability, punctuality, and good attendance are essential.

Responsibilities

• Direct the work activities of 2-25 employees.
• Lead daily huddles and boards tracking for production goals.
• Ensure 100% quality by signing off on first-piece checks and run checklists.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Materials, and Scheduling to resolve issues.
• Maintain safe, compliant, and clean work area at end of shift.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to the production team.
