We are seeking a hands-on Countertop Fabrication Technician to craft custom laminate and solid surface countertops. This position is perfect for individuals with experience in carpentry, cabinet shop work, woodworking, construction, or manufacturing who are adept with tools, blueprints, and measurements.

Responsibilities

• Cut materials to specified sizes.
• Assemble countertop components.
• Install end caps.
• Perform quality inspections and repair minor imperfections.
• Utilize power tools and polishing equipment to finish products according to customer specifications.
• Read and interpret work instructions and blueprints accurately.
• Use a tape measure with precision.
• Regularly lift materials up to 75 pounds.

Work Environment

The role is based in an indoor manufacturing and fabrication facility with a fast-paced production setting. You will work around power tools, production equipment, and overhead cranes, standing and walking for most of your shift. The environment requires frequent bending, lifting, and handling materials, with regular lifting of materials up to 75 lbs. Noise levels are moderate to high, and the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, hearing protection, and steel-toed boots is mandatory. The facility promotes a team-oriented production environment focused on quality and safety.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Omaha, NE.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
