Job summary

Lowe's in the United States is seeking a Sales Specialist to help customers find products and turn home improvement ideas into reality. You will be the first point of contact in-store, offering product knowledge, promotions, and financing options to close sales.

You’ll work in various departments depending on hiring needs, supporting checkout, assisting customers, and training junior staff as needed. Benefits include health options, 401(k), and associate discounts.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience in customer-facing sales or 6 months of Lowe’s retail experience (Or 3 years of external experience in customer-facing sales or 18 months of Lowe’s retail experience if education requirement is not met)
• 1 year of experience in sales or customer service in a sales environment with required sales goals or metrics
• Able to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by seeking out customers to understand their needs and communicate advantages of Lowe’s products
• Serve as a point of contact for customers and vendors within your department, providing project estimates and scheduling installer visits
• If in Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales services
• Monitor inventory levels to support sales and coordinate with vendors and stores
