Job summary

Millwork Recruiting Source is partnering with an established commercial architectural millwork manufacturer in the Chicopee, Massachusetts area to identify an experienced Project Manager.

This role will manage commercial architectural millwork projects through award, engineering, production, installation, billing and closeout, serving as the central liaison among clients, general contractors, architects, internal departments, vendors and installers.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of experience managing commercial architectural millwork projects.
• Strong knowledge of millwork, cabinetry, manufacturing and installation practices.
• Ability to read architectural drawings, shop drawings and construction documents.
• Experience coordinating with general contractors, architects and installers.
• Proven project lifecycle experience from estimating handoff to closeout.
• Proficient in MS Office and project coordination tools.

Responsibilities

• Review project documents and develop a comprehensive project schedule.
• Lead internal handoffs among estimating, project mgmt, engineering, purchasing and production.
• Communicate with clients, GCs, architects, vendors and installers.
• Coordinate shop drawings, submittals and RFIs.
• Manage change orders and billing coordination.
• Coordinate field measurements and site visits.
• Oversee production and installation coordination to meet milestones.
• Ensure closeout documentation and warranties are provided.
