Job summary

JK Concepts is seeking a Plant Manager to lead day-to-day production on the floor, develop supervisors, and drive an environment of accountability and teamwork across machining, assembly, scheduling, maintenance, and quality. You will partner with Engineering, PM, Purchasing, and Leadership to move projects efficiently from release to shipment.

Qualifications

• Seven or more years of leadership experience in commercial architectural millwork, cabinetry, casework, or wood product manufacturing.
• Proven experience leading production teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of production scheduling, workflow, quality standards, and manufacturing operations.
• Lean manufacturing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead all day-to-day production operations, including machining, assembly, scheduling, maintenance, quality, and safety.
• Build, coach, and develop supervisors and production employees while creating a culture of accountability, respect, and teamwork.
• Partner closely with Engineering, Project Management, Purchasing, and Leadership to keep projects moving efficiently from release through shipment.
• Continuously evaluate production flow and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and eliminate bottlenecks.
• Make thoughtful adjustments to processes when needed while remaining open to new ideas and continuous improvement.
• Monitor production schedules to ensure projects are completed on time while maintaining exceptional quality standards.
• Establish performance expectations, provide coaching, and recognize employee success.
• Drive operational excellence through KPIs, production reporting, and data-driven decision making.
• Promote a safe, organized, and efficient manufacturing environment.
• Help develop future leaders by mentoring employees and encouraging professional growth.
