Job summary

Demeter Millwork is seeking a skilled drafter to turn architects' intent into manufacturable shop drawings using AutoCAD and Microvellum.

You will create production packages for manufacturing, perform on-site measurements with 3D laser templating when required, and coordinate in-house or outsourced drafting vendors.

We value strong 2D AutoCAD skills, proficiency with Bluebeam and Microsoft Office, and knowledge of woodworking.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a 2-year degree in related field; experience may suffice.
• 3-5 years of professional drafting experience preferred.
• Proficient in reading blueprints and architectural drawings.
• High attention to detail with the ability to communicate intent through drawings.
• Experience coordinating multiple projects, independently or in a team.
• Strong AutoCAD 2D skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and Bluebeam.
• Knowledge of/experience with woodworking a plus.
• Microvellum experience a plus.
• Experience with CNC programming a plus.

• Coordinate the efforts of either in-house and/or outsource drafting vendors as the department director requires

Requirements

• Minimum of a 2-year degree in related field preferred; experience may suffice in lieu of educational requirements
• 3-5 year of professional drafting experience preferred.
• Proficient in reading blueprints and architectural drawings
• High attention to detail with the ability to communicate intent through drawings
• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team to coordinate multiple projects running simultaneously
• Strong AutoCAD 2D skills
• Experience with Microsoft Office and Bluebeam
• Knowledge of/experience with woodworking a plus
