Job summary

Beams Custom Woodworking & Cabinetry in Pennsylvania is seeking a detail‑oriented CAD drafter to produce detailed millwork drawings, elevations, and construction documents for custom cabinetry and woodworking projects. The role requires collaboration with designers and shop staff to ensure accuracy and quality.

You will develop and maintain CAD files, review specifications, and assist with quantity takeoffs.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years experience in millwork drafting, architectural woodworking, or custom cabinetry design
• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Cabinet Vision, Microvellum, or similar)
• Strong understanding of wood joinery, cabinet construction methods, and millwork standards
• Ability to read and interpret architectural plans, blueprints, and specifications
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
• Effective communicator who can work cross-functionally with shop and design teams
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Drafting, Engineering Technology, or related field preferred

Responsibilities
