Job summary

BEAMS CUSTOM WOODWORKING & CABINETR in Morgantown, PA is seeking a skilled millwork drafter to produce detailed shop drawings, elevations, and construction documents for custom cabinetry and woodworking projects. You will collaborate with designers, project managers, and shop fabricators to translate design intent into accurate drawings, maintain CAD files, and review specs to ensure accuracy.

Applicants should have experience in millwork drafting, proficiency in AutoCAD or similar CAD tools,

Qualifications

• Experience in millwork drafting, architectural woodworking, or custom cabinetry design required.
• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Cabinet Vision, Microvellum, or similar).
• Strong understanding of wood joinery, cabinet construction methods, and millwork standards.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural plans, blueprints, and specifications.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
• Effective communicator who can work cross-functionally with shop and design teams.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Drafting, Engineering Technology, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify and resolve design conflicts or constructability issues prior to fabrication.
• Update and revise drawings based on field conditions, client feedback, or engineering changes.
