Atlantic Caseworks in Charlotte, NC is seeking an engineer to turn architectural drawings into production-ready shop drawings and CNC programs for commercial cabinetry and millwork. You will work on-site across the Charlotte and Raleigh/Durham markets using Microvellum, Bluebeam Revu, Cut Rite, and WoodWOP.

The role requires 2 years AutoCAD experience, strong communication, and the ability to read drawings and confirm feasibility. A degree is preferred; experience with millwork is a plus.

Qualificações

• 2 years AutoCAD experience required.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience producing shop drawings for commercial casework or architectural millwork preferred.
• Working knowledge of Microvellum preferred.
• Ability to read architectural drawings and confirm feasibility of design.

Join our Engineering team and turn architectural drawings into shop drawings, production-ready designs, and CNC programs for custom commercial casework and architectural millwork. You will use Microvellum, Bluebeam Revu, Cut Rite, and WoodWOP on projects across the greater Charlotte and Raleigh/Durham markets. This is a full-time on-site role.

Schedule

Full-Time Work Week. Hours are not set in stone, but we do expect effort to flex with workloads increase and decrease.

Responsibilities

Prepare production-ready engineering for custom commercial cabinets and architectural millwork, from the architectural set through programs the shop can run.

• Create 2D shop drawings of client millwork from architectural drawings in Microvellum
• Review drawings and markups in Bluebeam Revu
• Check that millwork designs are valid and can be built as drawn
• Optimize designs for efficient, accurate production
• Generate panel saw optimizations in Cut Rite
