Beams Custom Woodworking & Cabinetry in Morgantown, PA is seeking a talented Millwork Drafter/Engineer to turn custom woodworking concepts into precise, buildable plans for one-of-a-kind projects. You will produce detailed shop drawings, elevations, and construction documents, collaborate with designers and fabricators, and maintain CAD files while reviewing specs to ensure accuracy and constructability.

Qualifications

Experience in millwork drafting, architectural woodworking, or custom cabinetry design.
Proficiency with CAD software and drafting standards.
Ability to read and interpret architectural plans, blueprints, and specifications.

Responsibilities

Produce detailed millwork shop drawings, elevations, and construction documents for cabinetry and woodworking projects.
Collaborate with designers, project managers, and shop fabricators to translate design intent into technical drawings.
Develop and maintain CAD/drafting files for millwork and built-ins.
Review project specs, blueprints, and requirements to ensure drawing accuracy.
Perform material takeoffs and assist with estimating lumber, hardware, and components.
Identify and resolve design conflicts or constructability issues prior to fabrication.
Update and revise drawings based on field conditions or engineering changes.
