Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Produce detailed millwork shop drawings, elevations, and construction documents for cabinetry and woodworking projects.
• Collaborate with designers, project managers, and shop fabricators to translate design intent into technical drawings.
• Develop and maintain CAD/drafting files for millwork and built-ins.
• Review project specs, blueprints, and requirements to ensure drawing accuracy.
• Perform material takeoffs and assist with estimating lumber, hardware, and components.
• Identify and resolve design conflicts or constructability issues prior to fabrication.
• Update and revise drawings based on field conditions or engineering changes.

Responsibilities:

• Produce detailed millwork shop drawings, elevations, and construction documents for custom cabinetry and woodworking projects
• Collaborate with designers, project managers, and shop fabricators to translate design intent into accurate technical drawings
• Develop and maintain CAD/drafting files for custom millwork, built-ins, and architectural woodworking
• Review project specifications, blueprints, and client requirements to ensure drawing accuracy

Requirements:

• Experience in millwork drafting, architectural woodworking, or custom cabinetry design

• Strong understanding of wood joinery, cabinet construction methods, and millwork standards
• Ability to read and interpret architectural plans, blueprints, and specifications
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
• Effective communicator who can work cross-functionally with shop and design teams
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Drafting, Engineering Technology, or related field preferred
