Job summary

Allan Myers is seeking experienced operators to safely run asphalt pavers, rollers, milling machines, back hoes and skid steers for milling and paving projects across sites. You will discuss plans with the field manager and determine the best safe, productive method to get the job done on time.

Responsibilities include performing physical duties, carrying out routine maintenance, and maintaining fluids while prioritizing safety for yourself and teammates.

Qualifications

• GED or HS Diploma is a plus.
• 2 yrs of equipment operating experience is a necessity.
• Related work experience is a necessity.
• Valid Driver’s License required.

Responsibilities

• Operates one or more types of construction equipment safely and performs routine maintenance.
• Discusses plans and goals for the day with field manager and determines best method of completing work safely and on time.
• Performs physical duties associated with safe operation of equipment.
• Performs maintenance tasks such as cleaning, greasing and checking fluid levels on equipment.
• Maintains clear communication with crew to meet daily goals and ensure safety around equipment.
