Qualifications

• 2 years of equipment operating experience is required.
• GED/HS Diploma is a plus.
• Valid Driver’s License is required.
• Must have very good hand, foot and eye coordination.
• Compliance with safety and equipment maintenance procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate one or more types of construction equipment safely and perform basic maintenance.
• Discuss plans with field manager and determine the best method to complete work safely and on time.
• Perform physical duties related to operating equipment and assist with maintenance.
• Keep equipment clean, greased and fluids topped up.
• Communicate clearly with crew to achieve daily goals.
• Overnight travel may be required; night and weekend shifts are common.
