Job summary

AESSEAL is seeking a skilled machinist to produce precision components from detailed drawings in our Rockford, IL facility. You will follow blueprints, operate milling and turning machines, and perform setup, offsets, and simple edits to ensure parts meet tolerances and specifications.

You will uphold safety standards, apply lockout-tagout procedures, and collaborate with supervision to resolve quality issues while maintaining a clean, organized work area.

Qualifications

• Reads and interprets blueprints to plan setup and operation of machine tools.
• Produces parts to tolerances and company specs per drawings and PM charts.
• Detects machining issues and makes adjustments to insure quality.
• Communicates with supervisor to resolve machining or quality issues.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture precision items from prints using milling, turning, drilling, tapping.
• Perform setup, load parts, prove programs, set offsets, and perform simple edits.
• Inspect finished parts to ensure conformance to drawings and tolerances.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and adhere to lockout-tagout procedures.
