MC Machinery Systems is seeking a Milling Applications Engineer in Elk Grove Village, IL. You will develop processes to enhance customer production, demonstrate capabilities, and optimize Mitsubishi milling machines. Expect pre-sales support, customer training, and problem solving at client sites, with up to 50% travel.

The role emphasizes collaboration with sales, detailed analyses, and driving improvements in machine performance for diverse customer needs.

Qualifications

Ability to operate, program, and troubleshoot milling machinery.
High level of customer service.
CNC programming skills.
Knowledge of CAD/CAM software.
Ability to operate computer using Windows operating systems.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Attention to detail and organized.
Ability to work in a fast paced, team environment.
Travel up to 50% of the time to customers, trade shows, events.

Responsibilities

Develop and analyze customer needs, prepare demonstrations and reports for pre-sales activities.
Provide high level processing training to customers to improve machine performance.
Review, evaluate, and resolve machine maintenance and applications-related problems at customer sites.
Exercise discretion and independent judgment to diagnose and resolve customer reports.
Increase sales by identifying customer opportunities.
Collaborate with applications personnel to develop and implement marketing strategies.
Create solutions for customers addressing machine maintenance and applications-related problems.
Other duties as assigned.
