Job summary

MC Machinery Systems, Inc. is seeking an Applications Engineer to develop processes that enhance customer production using product analysis and demonstrations.

You will collaborate with sales to secure business, analyze manufacturing processes, train customers, and build demonstrations for Mitsubishi milling machines. You will independently diagnose and resolve a range of machine-related issues, travel up to 50% to sites and events, and work in a fast-paced team environment to optimize machine

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent required.
• 5+ years in a pre-sales role for machinery/manufacturing preferred.
• 5+ years operating, programming, or repairing laser machinery experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and analyze customer needs and prepare demonstrations and reports for pre-sales activities.
• Provide high power processing training to customers and MC Machinery employees to improve machinery performance.
• Review and resolve machine maintenance and applications-related problems at customer sites.
• Exercise discretion and independent judgment to diagnose and respond to customer reports.
• Identify customer opportunities to increase MC Machinery sales.
• Collaborate with applications staff to develop marketing strategies.
• Create solutions for customer machine maintenance and applications-related problems.
• Other duties as assigned.
