The Beasley Group in Hazlehurst, GA is seeking an Entry Level Utility Fill-In Rover to support daily sawmill operations. This full-time role involves sorting, handling, and processing lumber (fresh cut) while maintaining safety, quality, and productivity.

Ideal candidates must be able to learn multiple positions, stand for long periods, lift 50+ lbs, and work nights or weekends if required. Overtime opportunities and benefits are available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Physically demanding environment with lifting 50+ lbs.
• Willingness to work nights and weekends if required.
• Ability to learn multiple positions and adapt quickly.

• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Rotate through the line and related areas to support production needs.
• Sort, stack, and organize lumber based on size, grade, and quality.
• Remove defective or unusable materials from the sorting line.
• Assist machine operators with setup, operation, and minor troubleshooting.
• Perform general labor duties including cleanup, debris removal, and material handling.
• Fill in for absent employees to ensure continuous workflow and minimal downtime.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all company safety policies and standard operating procedures.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
