Job summary

Commercial Metals Company seeks a skilled manufacturing team member to support rolling mill operations, inspect stands and guides, read blueprints, and set up equipment for production. You will work with Roll Turners, stock parts in SAP, and ensure safe, efficient daily output.

The role requires the ability to work rotating shifts, stand for long periods in extreme temperatures, and communicate clearly with teammates.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Clear communication and teamwork are essential.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend and work in extreme temperatures for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Inspect mill stands and guides and determine needed repairs.
• Repair mill stands and guiding equipment using blueprints.
• Operate robots to replace mill stand rolls and prepare guides for production.
• Set up mill stands for use in the mill and read/print documents from SAP/QMOS.
• Order parts and maintain spare parts inventory for the Roll Shop.
• Support safety programs and maintain organized work areas.
