Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Manufacturing/warehousing experience (1 year) preferred.
• Ability to lift 5–25 lbs frequently, 60+ lbs occasionally.
• Ability to read measuring devices and perform basic math.

Responsibilities

• Receive and store raw materials.
• Fill pressure tanks from storage vessels.
• Set up and perform slump test for viscosity; adjust with chemicals if needed.
• Move pressure tanks using a walk-along device.
• Replace screens and parts in pots as directed.
• Clean the mill room as required.
• Transport enamel to the spray pot.
• Inspect for damage and ensure safety rules are followed.
• Observe departmental safety requirements.
• Inspect units or parts for defects and workmanship.
• Work from written or verbal orders.
• Perform quality checks (slump test) and document results.
• Understand and read a measuring cup.
• Perform preventative maintenance on pressure vessels and lift assists.
• Connect hoses to storage tanks and mix virgin and reclaim material.
• Carry out other duties as assigned.
