Rheem's Water Heater Division in Montgomery, AL seeks a Mill Room Helper to assist in the Porcelain Department. The role supports the Mill Room Attendant and reports to Boiler, performing material handling, testing, and equipment upkeep.

Candidates must have a high school diploma, at least one year in manufacturing or warehousing, and the ability to lift heavy objects. The position requires reading measuring cups, performing slump tests, and adhering to safety and Rheem values.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year in manufacturing or warehousing.
• Ability to lift 5-25 lbs continuously; 60+ lbs occasionally.
• Read measuring cups and use basic measurement devices.
• Willing to work overtime in a noisy environment.
• Must promote Rheem values of Integrity, Teamwork and Business Ethics.

Responsabilidades

• Receive and store raw materials.
• Fill pressure tanks from storage vessels.
• Set up and perform slump tests for viscosity; adjust chemicals as needed.
• Transport and handle pressure tanks with equipment.
• Replace screens and parts in pots; clean mill room.
• Perform quality checks and document results (slump test).
• Observe safety requirements and wear PPE.
• Read and follow written or verbal orders.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment.
