Job summary

SGI (Specialty Granules LLC) is seeking an on-site supervisor to direct Milling, Intermediate, Primary and Quarry operations. You will oversee safety, health, productivity and environmental awareness while coordinating with maintenance and production teams.

The role requires experience in manufacturing supervision, adherence to MSHA/ EPA regulations, and strong leadership in safety trainings, inspections, and reporting. Excellent teamwork and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience directing milling and quarry operations to meet safety and production targets.
• Knowledge of MSHA rules and environmental regulations is preferred.
• Ability to lead training, safety talks, and incident reporting.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise Milling, Intermediate, Primary and Quarry operations to ensure safety and productivity.
• Ensure compliance with company work rules, MSHA/EPA regulations and safety procedures.
• Review reports, coordinate maintenance, adjust equipment settings and monitor tonnage targets.
• Conduct safety inspections, record keeping, and training activities (tool box talks).
• Print work orders and coordinate with maintenance using Maximo.
