Job summary

Ameristar Perimeter Security USA is seeking a Mill Operator Trainee to handle roll form operations and equipment, ensuring continuous operation during the 1st shift (Mon-Thu, 5:00am–3:30pm). You will focus on keeping the mill running, maintaining a clean and safe workspace, and supporting TPM and quality checks.

Responsibilities include coordinating with the supervisor, training teammates, reducing scrap, and collaborating with maintenance to resolve issues promptly. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience using measuring devices such as calipers and tape measures.

Responsibilities

• Keep the mill operational and ensure continuous operation during the shift.
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized work area with 5S principles.
• Cross-train team members on parts programming and mill setups.
• Perform TPM of processes and equipment in the area.
• Coordinate daily/weekly activities with the department supervisor.
• Conduct visual and manual quality checks of finished products.
• Minimize scrap and resolve issues with maintenance promptly.
